Last night at my Healthy Living class series I’ve been having in my home, we discussed the whys of sprouting and how to incorporate them in our diets, as these are an amazing way to get a power- packed amount of nutrition.
It’s amazing at how few seeds are actually needed to create an entire jar of living nutrients, just waiting to infuse our bodies with life-giving energy.
Water is crucial to begin the process. The seeds must be soaked for 4-8 hours, then, they must be rinsed a few time through the day for the next few days, depending on the type of seed. The sprouting jar has to be swirled around, so the seeds are not clumped together and begin to mold.
Without careful attention to the necessary steps, the entire jar of life potential can be lost.
But, in being diligent to wash, rinse, and swirl, the seeds will burst forth into one of the most powerful health promoting foods known.
We are a lot like the seeds. We need water…physically and spiritually.
Without the properties of water that are available to our cells, we will stay dehydrated and lose the benefits of what water is actually meant to do.
In our Guide Book, God refers to His water to cleanse us and quench our thirst permanently.
He talks about washing us with His word…without us daily nourishing ourselves with both types of water, rinsing the seeds of knowledge, understanding and love, circulating it in our lives, the potential of these amazing seeds can be lost.
Lack of motivation to actually get up and do something with the knowledge we are given, complacency with the status quo, or believing lies that we have to settle with where we are at this point in time, squelches our true potential…
Today is the day to get the good water in our cells! Get washing, rinsing and swirling !
New sprouts of amazing things are waiting to happen in your life…It may not happen today…keep rinsing and you will see the change happen!
Happy Sprouting! 😉
