The road to health and wellness may sometimes seem long and tedious. Especially when your legs are weak or perhaps you have rarely used them.
Each step we take towards our health is one step away from being sick and tired, helping others along the path, and being fulfilled in our purpose for even being on this path.
A wise woman once told me “When you’re sick enough, you’ll make changes….you just haven’t been sick enough.”
She was right. It wasn’t until the getting out of bed each morning felt like I had been in some kind of brawl the night before,barely able to get up, that I decided; “I’m sick enough.”
I began to put one foot in front of the other, this time, going in the right direction.
I was determined to change the course of my life.
It seemed overwhelming at first, but I just started…… one foot at a time…
Each day, I get farther, find more people who are also needing encouragement to get the strength to start moving, and with every person I am able to help in some way, it energizes me even more to move forward.
I am finding myself amazed as the weeks go by, at how much distance from the pain and sickness I already am beginning to see.
My desire is to be able to share my journey with anyone who is needing a hand to hold, an encouraging word, someone to walk with them or just to know that someone has been there, too!
